The Engineering Division is equipped with a wide range of heavy duty and precision machines for the machining of heavy items, deep hole drilling and precision components for various applications. The division plays a vital role in the designing of the tooling for in-house usage and product development and also contributes to devising procedures for improvement of operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
The Deep Hole Drilling capability is from 30 mm to 135 mm ID and 10,000 mm long for an outside diameter range of 100 mm to 350 mm. The OD profiling can be done for a maximum length of 10,000 mm.
An extended and versatile range of Mori Seiki CNC machines including 5 Axis Mill Turn, Guruptz 21” with spindle bore of 21 inches, Vertical Turning Lathes, Horizontal Boring Machines, Jig Boring machines, Milling Machines, Vertical Milling Machines with DRO Scales, Radial Drilling Machines, Grinding Machines, Turret and conventional Lathes are available.
All the required Quality Control equipments related to Metallurgy and Metrology, including the ARL Spectrometers for the material testing and Carl Zeiss Contura G2 navigator (length: 2100 mm, Width: 1000 mm, Height: 600 mm and least count: 1.8 µm) Coordinate Measuring Machine for accurate measurements are available to ensure the Quality of the Products.
